Best Grocery Stores in Dallas for Beef
1. Central Market
Take your time and explore, you just might find a gem. This is one! Pretzel Baguette frozen food section. You can thank me later!
Avoid Sundays unless you enjoy shopping cart battles
get spices in the bulk section! save tons of money and just get what you need.
2. Central Market
Great healthy / organic market alternative. Fresh food, not so pricy, huge variety, worth the drive!
I swear during the week you can skip lunch and fill up on all the samples while picking up dinner!
Craft your own 6-pack from ANY of the beers they have. Pretty nifty.
3. WinCo Foods
This place is amazing! They have everything! You can $80-$100 that would have easily been around 200 or more at Wal-Mart. The employees are ALWAYS nice and helpful. DEFINITELY worth regular visits
Bring a friend if you sack slow. You might get a "side eye" from cashier and other customers. Hurry up.
Every time I go to this place, I come in for one thing, but leave out with 20. LOL. Always a good deal brewing somewhere in that store!!!
Fantastic prosciutto and parmesan cheese are sold for the half of the price than Whole Foods. Sometimes, they have burrata directly from Italy. Ask about it.
Besides being an Italian market and deli, Jimmy's is home to some of the best damn sandwiches this city has to offer. Order up an Italian Stallion or a Cuban and an espresso shot or glass of red wine.
Love the muffuletta and Italian sausage sandwiches. Great selection of Italian wines
5. Whole Foods Market
Grab some delicious pesto from the olive bar.
This has proved far more successful than the short-lived "Mr. Dwindle's Half Foods Market." Unfortunately for Dwindle, he vastly overestimated the demand for items such as half-apples and half-eggs.
Love the smoothies that they make!!!
6. Trader Joe's
Just about everything here is great. Dark chocolate lovers, you need to try theirs. It's very smooth.
The 2 buck Chuck (Trader Joe's private label wine) is actually $2.98, but that's still a great deal. People rave about Cookie Butter, but I haven't tried it yet.
Great place just a circus. Crowds.
I love Sprouts, good quality for decent prices
wine selection is great here
Fresh produce, support our local farmers :) and love all the organic selections.
Best produce in town, especially when on sale! Love this place!
It remains one of the only grocery stores in town that actually feels like a place to stock up on food!
Much cheaper than Whole Foods or Central Market. I found every thing I needed.
9. Whole Foods Market
The coffee and juice bar makes custom, fresh squeezed juices and high quality espresso drinks with all lots of dairy and non dairy milk options, plus organic, non GMO flavors! Yum!
Great salad bar selection. Very fresh!
They have a bar here. A bar... In the market. If you prefer not to take the arduous process of grocery shopping to task in heaven, then this isn't the place for you.
10. Kroger
Best produce section in the valley ranch area
Absolutely the nicest Kroger I have ever been in, and the cashier was unbelievably courteous and friendly. Give this place your business!
Best floral choice around! All the people are great and always give 100%;)
11. Braum's
Braums is always excellent and cheap! Love the ice cream, cones, and sundaes
Dlx cheeseburger, chicken sandwich
The sundaes are fantastic. Also, forget walmart you can do your grocery shopping here too.
12. Tom Thumb
Try the Safeway brand Salsa Verde (it's green). Incredible and a nice change from picante sauce.
Very clean store great variety of products, cheese, beer, wines, deli has great menu at reasonable prices, but the groceries items are too expensive, make sure you have a Tom Thumb card
Lucky to have a grocery store close to home with so many amenities, ample, clean, fresh produce etc. It has a Starbucks kiosk and an area to eat or chill where someone is playing the piano most days.
13. Natural Grocers
SO much better than Whole Foods! All organic, better prices, extensive vitamin selection, local grass fed beef.
This place is awesome!! So much cheaper than Whole Foods!
Love the helpful staff
14. Natural Grocers
This one is huuuge! Love the kind service from the workers. Be sure to tell them it's your first time when you enter, you get a free bag!
